For today, a quick shout out to one of my favorite online columnists, Cary Tennis. If you're a regular Salon reader, you know who he is. His advice column 'Since You Asked' is not your typical Dear Abby stuff. The issues are often complex, messy and, at times, shocking. Cary's answers are thoughtful and long, filled with insight, ideas and details from his own life. His answers aren't always tidy and trite, ala: "Just do this and it'll all be ok..." I love that. Because, let's face it, life is messy and our collective human problems seem more complex than they were 30 years ago. If you have time, check out his work - see 'Since You Asked' directory.
