Forgive me the cliche, but wow time does go by fast when you look at the milestones in a child's life. How is it even possible the boys are nearly 5 years old?!This past weekend we hosted an amazing birthday celebration for the twins' 5th birthday. Their official birth date is June 1, but this was the best weekend for a party.
School friends joined us at Sports Ohio's Power Play - a cool outdoor recreational facility with mini golf, and go-karts - both big and little. The weather was perfect - sunny and warm. Summer's here!!
After activities, we all converged on the shelter house behind the mini
golf waterfall and had pizza, drinks - then 
yummy cake and ice cream. Presents and gift bags followed. The kids had a blast. Success all around -- an incredible time and precious memories we'll hold in our hearts forever.

I'd like to extend a big thank-you to everyone who came out to celebrate this special milestone birthday. It certainly meant a lot to me to spend time with you. Jack and Sam had a fantastic time.
If you can see the cake, it's actually a series of cupcakes in the shape of a watermelon with toy ants on it. It was delish!!
A special note to Sammy and Jack: Happy birthday, my sweet boys. I love you both more than mere words can say. You have made my life and I am grateful and humbled to be your mommy.
